What is there to do in Zagreb?

Well, Zagreb has many different things to be seen....

The most popular thing to do in Zagreb.... lets say even in all of Croatia is....... to go out for coffee.... Zagreb has many cafe's where you can spend time and relax with your friends. The most popular street for cafe's is Tkalciceva which is located just off of the main Trg.

If you like movies, Zagreb has a couple of movie theatres..... Cinestar located on Draskoviceva (here with your index, you can apply for a card (costs 9kn) so that you can get cheaper movie tickets). The other movie theatre is located in Kaptol Centar (walk all the way up Tkalciceva)

For those who like to spend time reading, the perfect store to find books is Algoritam. It is located right next to hotel Dubrovnik on the main Trg. If you use your tram pass, you get a 10% discount!

For people that love to shop, Ilica (the main street to the Trg) has many stores along its path. If you don't find anything there, there is always Importanne Gallerija (off of Vlaska) and Importanne Centar (by the train station) or there is also Kaptol Centar. Recently a few new shopping malls were built.... Avenue Mall (take a tram 14 from the trg to get to it) and City Center One (its farther and you'll probably need a bus to get to it- located in the Precko area).

If you're a fan of nature, Maksimir park is a beautiful place to visit. Take a romantic walk with a special someone, or have a nice walk with your friends.

If you like animals, Zagreb has a zoo.... it works from 9:00 to 20:00 with the possibility to buy tickets to enter from 9:00 to 18:30. It costs 30kn per person. Its located in the Maksimir park.
